Addiction
Addiction means to add something to the original state to make its function abnormal.
Generally,people become addicted due to following four main reasons:-
(i)Initially people use the drug as the painkiller but if it is used for long time the person will be addicted.
(ii)If people take drug for the first time to be relief from mental tensions,it may feel him relax and think that he/she was away from problems.In this way people become addicted.
(iii)If people have no idea about something for example,like dancing,playing,acting,singing,etc.Also if people become fail in any case like,exam,love,etc.they become frustrate and to be relief from such tensions they involve in alcoholism,drug abuse,etc.
(iv)And the most important one is company of frie
nds in school ,college,home,etc.Like the proverb
‘If one potato in a sack was rotten it will rot the remaining all.’
Like that if one of their friend in a group was involved in such addiction he/she may spoil all of the company.
